Ct.Wedding Florists:Sarahs wedding flowers at Wadsworth Mansion,Ct.

Beautiful "Sarah" I was so lucky to get a shot of her.

It was raining (of course, these days)

and there she was getting her photos done inside. How lucky am I to get a shot!!
The grounds are lovely......and our rain plan was just as beautiful. We had intended to

place the pedestal arrangements on the columns in the garden and use the central arrangement

across the garden wall.......And here we are at the East Ballroom mantle area.....almost perfect.

The Wadsworth mansion www.wadsworthmansion.com is a grand and glorious site.

There are endless possibilities from a decorative standpoint.
Right up my alley. I love
challenges....

It has been a wonderful and pleasurable journey working with Sarah. This is why I love doing beautiful wedding flowers. I send great big hugs to Sarah and Chris, may they keep the flame burning forever.......
Wow!! Thanks so much.

Ct.Wedding Florists: ,The Riverhouse and our beautiful bride and groom

There is nothing like great photos to capture a perfect day.
Cynthia Brown of http://www.cynthiabrownweddings.com/ did just that. Her photos really capture the Riverhouse www.theriverhouse.com, and best of all, the bride and groom and their bridal party. And we cannot forget the "flowers."
Cynthia captured the details....the hot pink shoes, the hand-tied bouquets with criss-cross hot pink ribbons, hot pink rose petals in the upright topiaries, and the accents of hot pink ribbons adorning the table centerpieces.
We softened the ceremony setting with white draperies, creating a more intimate feel. The modern topiaries set the tone. They were moved into the reception and placed behind the head table.

I am thrilled to have these photos.
Thank you so much, Cynthia Brown.
And thanks to my bride, it was a true pleasure and we did create
"Beautiful Wedding Flowers"
together.
And of course,
Thanks to the "Riverhouse".....one of our favorite wedding venues.
I wish you all the happiness you can create.
My bride  just wrote:
Hi Debra:

Matt and I wanted to thank you for doing such a BEAUTIFUL job for our wedding. We cannot even begin to tell you the amount of compliments we have received about the flowers. People are still contacting us to compliment them. We have given your name to everyone who has said something and I know of at least one that may be contacting you for their wedding. Ct. Wedding Florist: Who Stole our Arch at the Beach?

We started off on this beautiful day setting up a bamboo arch at Hammonasset State Park. It was all about the bamboo arch, simple but affective, set in the sand.

Look at this ocean backdrop....Perfect!! We fought the high winds, no problem, but never considered that as we went back to the trucks to bring forward the flowers that the arch would be stolen. Yes, when we returned the arch was gone....gone.......no where to be found.
These 2 men are the HERO'S......to this story. They were passing on the boardwalk and decided to keep an eye out......I heard them yelling and running back with the whole arch top and sides they had found in dunes aways away. We reinstalled the arch with flowers and voila!!!......
The Bride never knew and walked down her sandy aisle smiling.

Ct.Wedding Florist: Soft and Romantic with a modern twist at the "Riverhouse"

I will continue to keep everyone posted as to ideas in ceremonies at the Riverhouse.
We softened the backdrop with beautiful draperies and created a more modern look using
tall pilsner vases filled with rose petals and topiaries. Great contrast against the soft white draperies.. The topiaries and modern pedestals moved inside to flank the sweetheart table.
This photo does not do this justice......it was so much more....but you had to be there.
I guess you could say it had the "WOW" factor.......

Ct.Wedding Florist: Romantic wedding flowers at the "Riverhouse" Ct.

For all the wonderful Brides getting married on the Riverhouse property.....How about a soft and romantic feel..... Draperies are perfect for this space.......and of course, "Flowers." Karen
was inspired with a photo in my wedding album showcasing this natural garden texture and columns wrapped in white tulle.
It was our job to translate it using the columns already on site.....Perfect.

Ct.Wedding Florist: Water's Edge "Wedding Salon Ballroom at it's best.

Everyone comments on what to do with the Salon ballroom.....How about a 30' backdrop of white lights and draperies....What an incredible difference this makes.......and how about behind
the band.......Wow!!

It was a pleasure creating beautiful bouquets in contrasting colors to enhance the bridesmaids aqua gowns. And how cute is this little one who would not look at me for anything.....
Next time I am going to offer a little one candy, and I bet they will smile up at me for a perfect shot.
Melanie, Thank you, and I wish you the best........

Ct. Wedding Florists: "Blue Iris" only in the springtime.

In all my years of exploring combinations of Wedding bouquets...this is only the 2nd time I have used Iris. The accent of yellow in the Brides bouquet was perfect for the yellow and white bouquets the bridesmaids carried.
"Blue bouquets are in."
I am thrilled with the outcome.

Ct.Wedding Florists: Mystic Marriott wedding flowers, Ct.

Such a great color scheme! Amy loved hot pink, orange, and green.....We softened this striking color palette with white cymbidium orchids with pink throats..... Just for the bride.
The Mystic ballroom at the Mystic Marriott www.marriott was dressed nicely with upright centerpieces in a striking color palette of hot pink, orange and green. Seeing Laurie Wall, Events Coordinator, and staff...... is always a pleasure.
We delivered Amy's Chapel flowers to "Gungyswamp Rd." Who thought that one up......?*
To Amy and her hubby, It was a "JOY."
