Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station:Bakes and Baldwin showcasing Kara's wedding flowers

Kara's wedding bouquet was clean and classic. I wasn't able to get a shot of her......

All the bridesmaids carried all blue with white lilies....as you can see the brides
bouquet coordinated so nicely using the posi callas.

These arrangements enhanced the bar area, set up under the pergola.....

Centerpieces included two different looks.....peacock feathers were added for simple accents throughout.....The orchids underwater along with floating candles looks so romantic as the evening moves on......And upright centerpieces always looks great.....You can see the peacock feathers up and out of the uprights in the back-round......Wish Kara and her hubby all kinds of inspiration into their married life and always special thanks to The Riverhouse...They are great !!

Water's Edge, Westbrook, Ct. wedding

Sara loved modern design and bright color, we brainstormed and because she was not a fan of roses,  we created this bold wedding bouquet that would impress.......And that it did......Wow!!!
Plan B, yes, we had rain. Seems as if that is often these days. The Royal ballroom looks so "royal."
We used less conventional elements to create her stlye. Torka branching did the trick...

Nice aisle and the chair covers with navy sashes from Chair Affair united the overall theme.

Loved these centerpieces.....orchids lit (led lights) underwater and abstract navy wire maintaining
Sara's modern design. Lit floating candles not yet installed must have made quite a statement when the lighting dimmed for the evening. Sara's vision perfectly made. It was a pleasure. Thanks
to Waters's Edge always working hard to bring "JOY" to all their clients.

Wedding at Water's Edge Inn, Westbrook, Ct. wedding

These posi callas are glamorous.......So regal.....so bold. Amy looked stunning with her bouquet.

Bridesmaids carried posi callas and lavender freesia....again so simple and yet so elegant.
We had a wild day at Water's Edge......The weather is always interesting and Amy's wedding day brought 95 degree weather........nothing new in the summer time. And as we set up the bambo huppah on the lower lawn we looked up and the dark clouds exploded  "Hail" the size of quarters.....After
the storm we had to move the huppah (because of 1" of water on the lawn) on to the lower patio. Years ago we did all weddings on the lower patio.......iit looked great..........
Centerpieces were very modern with calla lillies and bursts of lavender orchids .
The mother of the bride wrote:
Thank you for making everything look beautiful. The flowers were georgous. We've had tons of compliments on how beautiful the room looked.
Thanks again, it was a pleasure working with you.

Ct.Wedding Florist: Jenn and Christopher married at Water's Edge

The Royal Ballroom at Water's Edge looked ready for a grand party when we finished
decorating the 4 columns with white drapes and twinkling lights. The bride and groom
loved curly willow branching for centerpieces. We embellished with hanging crystals and french votives, shimmer and glitter everywhere.
Look closely and you can see the votives.....as I am not the greatest
photographer.

"WOW"  Debra,
You really did an amazing job with the flowers. It was so beautiful and well
done. The room and gazebo were perfect. At night it turned into an amazing
show.
My mom took one of the big displays home and we gave the other to waters edge to
use for Easter brunch.

Thank you again
Christopher & Jennifer Aiello

Jenn looked so beautiful, in fact, I must have told her that at least 5 times. Her exquisite gown fit like
a glove. She was well taken care of by the great:  The White Dress by the Shore   I am so honored to have her most beautiful gown as a backdrop to her vivid bouquet.
We are thrilled too......to  be a part of their most wonderful day.......

Ct.Wedding Florist: Wedding flowers at New Haven Country Club, Ct.

It was such a joy to meet with Emily and Nick for the first time.......
Nick's family was from this area and we went way back servicing the floral needs of his family in years past. Joyce, Nick's mom, was so thrilled to contact us. Wow!! the time had come.. Wedding time!!!
The suprise factor in Emily's choices for flowers included cypripedium orchids...a perfect choice since (except for the bridesmaids flowers) the overall color scheme was chartreuse green and white.
Emily and Nick chose New Haven Country Club for their ceremony and reception. Why not create a suprise factor that all the guests have not seen........
We installed a 30" backdrop of draperies and lights and created the "WOW" factor.......inside the main dining room......

The theme remained simple and modern.
The square arch of green and white hydrangea grounded the ceremonial space perfectly. Centerpieces textured the ballroom for overall affect.

We looked forward to this wedding all year, imagining, and maifesting ......
We thank you, Emily and Nick. for your trust and unified vision........

Nick's mom wrote:
Debra,

Thank you so much for a lovely evening. Everything was just

spectacular.
Everyone loved the decorations and the flowers were beautiful.
The back drop made the room look so romantic.

Thank you again for a magical evening.

Ct.Wedding Florist:Wedding Flowers at The Riverhouse, Ct.

This is such a cute shot of my beautiful bride receiving her bouquet and so thrilled
with it's beauty and scent she asks her mom to take a sniff........Stephanotis scent
is a classic wedding scent that will forever stay with her..

Seeing all the wedding photographers creativity, I thought I would find a fun way to photo the bouquet. What do you think?
Hot pink roses, red posi callas and white stephanotis, says it all.

She is so cute.

How about a hand-painted silk huppah top shipped in and installed this morning. Layers of various colored pomegranates frame in the lavish ethereal-like swirls of lavender grapes and soft greens for vines.

The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station www.theriverhouse.com was the place. Always beautiful.

"Congratulations" to Mary Ellen and her wonderful groom.
