Ct.Wedding Florist: Carols Wedding Flowers at Water's Edge, Ct.

Now what would you think that Carol's favorite flower is?

How about stargazer lillies.

If you guessed that, you are right.

Her requests to me were, large and showy.....

That's what stargazer lillies bring......

large and showy.

" Perfect" flower for Carol.

As many of you know, I am always trying to get the photo.......

and I always deliver before the bride has dressed in her gown......

But, how often do I get the perfect shot of a bride

with a tee shirt in gold lettering saying

"Bride"

Just so much fun.......Thanks, Carol!!!
This lush, rich tone of aqua (the bridesmaids dresses)

set a beautiful backdrop for the stargazer lillies.
How about our glass vases filled with aqua water?
Again, these were a perfect match to the dresses.
I would love to have a shot of all 7 bridesmaids next to these vases.
Vases and pedestals were taken by the Water's Edge staff,
and placed behind the sweetheart table.
Aqua was the theme, beachy was too...We created a mantle piece soft and simple with twinkle lights, shells and stargazer....Scaled showy and large.....
Details are so important in weddings these days,
and Carol did a great job,
right down to the candy bar in aqua......
Thank you,
Carol
Bakes and Baldwin
wish you great happiness forever with your wonderful groom.

Ct. Wedding Florist: Jamie's wonderful wedding flowers....

We have Jamie as she picks up her bouquet (no, she is not wearing red as a gown) she turns to let me photo flowers in her hair, which, by the way, looked perfect.... We used chartreuse green, purple, blue and white.
Jamie's bouquet contrasted perfectly with the bridesmaids.

She chose 2 honor attendants, 6 bridesmaids, 2 Jr. bridesmaids and 2 flower girls (with accents of) all dressed in cobalt blue...
We maintained the density of colors against the dresses,
creating just enough contrast. The Madison Congregational has a soft blue backdrop and new carpet in a royal blue, perfect for the cobalt dresses....How often does that happen!!
I love swagging the railings.
This frames in the bride and groom so perfectly.

I loved working with Jamie and her Mom.... I was honored to be a part of their wedding , I only wish Jamie had 5 sisters....
A perfect day, with a wonderful family.
(((((Hugs))))

Debra,
The flowers were PERFECT!! Everyone commented on them - and thanks for putting the pictures on the web. I posted it on my facebook. It was such a grand night. I don't have the photograpy site - yet but as soon as I do I will send it to you.
My heart is so full!!!

Ct.Wedding Florist: Mary and Joseph's wedding flowers, Ct.

At Mary's initial meeting we studied her mom's wedding pictures. Mary wore her mother's beautiful 1950's vintage gown and veil......... Our inspiration for her wedding bouquet started with her mother's bouquet........We softened with open roses, lisianthus, and drops of dendrobium orchids.
Great shot of the bride and groom after the ceremony in the receiving line.

Little girls in pink. The daisy crowns added such a childlike feel.
We did daisy pomiander balls and daisy garlands for the girls.
I was not in the right place and time to get that shot.
They are so cute.

St. Francis Summer Chapel, in Niantic. Grand, natural garden, bouquets in rented wrought iron urns, were a perfect backdrop for the wedding ceremony.

Our last photo showcases the tent poles we decorated at,The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, with a springeri garland and long drops of ribbons with daisies. Everyone was in awe....making the tent poles a soft romantic finish to each guests visual pleasures.
I truly enjoyed Mary's vision. I truly enjoyed manifesting her vision.
and I truly wish Mary and Joseph a warm and prosperous future.
Thank you!!!
