Jennifer loved our Mercury Glass.......Hot pink, Yes,Yes, and hotpink hydrangea, hot pink garden roses and hot pink peonies made our Mercury Glass sparkle...... Madison Beach Hotel rocked!!!

It is always wonderful to spend a day at Madison Beach Hotel where the ocean sparkles.  Congratulations!!!
And special thanks for the amazing shots from Leslie Dumke Studio Photography. Wow!!! Enjoy!!

Ct.Wedding Florist: Art and a letter of thanks!

I received this lovely watercolor thank you note. The bride's mother painted this shot of an
upright arrangement we did for the foyer of "The Riverhouse". We will frame this and have it showcased in my office for all to enjoy.... along with a touching note
inside that read:

Dear Debra,
I just want to thank you and express my gratitude for all of your patience, advice, and hard work in
helping with Katherine's wedding.
You took our thoughts and turned them into more than we could have ever imagined!!
The attendant's flowers, entry displays, centerpieces, pew markers, stair draping, ceremony pieces,
EVERYTHING was perfect.
The magical setting was surpassed only by my daughters beauty as she held her exquisite bouquet!
Thank you again for helping make the "FAIRY TALE" come true!
I wish you continued success, and I know who to call for my next event, whatever that may be.
"With warm regards"
Denise (mother of bride)

Wedding at Water's Edge Inn, Westbrook, Ct. wedding

Hey, everyone, there is our beautiful Dana holding her soft and romantic wedding bouquet before
she stepped into her gorgeous gown.......
We had a question all day with rain, or no rain......and Dana took the risk to have her ceremony on the lawn at Water's Edge.  And she chose right......Yay!!

We created an arbor in her color scheme.....

The Grand Ballroom showcased our pilsner vases with soft and romatic flowers to follow the
overall style of her wedding.....Water's Edge Inn and Spa  as always were gracious and would
move mountains to meet our bride's needs........Thank you!!

Saybrook Point Inn wedding

I love this shot of Jenna and her "pips"   All white on white......We just don't
see this very often these days. Looked so bridal.....

White peonies, with white scabiosa and roses were center stage. With white weddings
texture is everything.....Couldn't ask for more.

These urns were very traditional and looked great. The scale was perfect.
The one and only great "Cheryl Cronin" taking shots of Jenna. Check out her blog at
Cheryl Cronin blog  and enjoy more shots and her slide show. As Jenna shouted out,
"You two (me and Cheryl) are the dream team!"  She was the dream bride.

Saybrook Pt. Inn did a wonderful job as always. We are thrilled to be part of Jenna and Russell's day and wish them years and years of joy!!!

Water's Edge Inn, Westbrook, Ct. wedding

White was Kelly's passion.......and she loved just one type of flower together.  Her bouquet ..texured roses.........
The Bridesmaids carried white posi calla's. These were the most beautiful posi callas we have ever had.  Perfectly formed and large enough to make a grand statement.

And as a surprise to her guests we tied white lillies and used the stem work to create a contemporary desined centerpiece. The "Royal Ballroom" at Water's Edge Inn and Spa showcased 18 tables of all white lillies......
We wish Kelly and William many many years of "Blissful" happiness!!!

Water's Edge Inn, Wedding in Westbrook.

White wedding flowers are coming back. Tanya's block of color was
in the bridesmaids dresses. The aqua blue was so pretty.

White posi callas, freesia, renunculas and roses were a perfect
combination. I am always looking for textured combinations that
speak loadly to each Brides style.

Tall cylinders with white dendrobium orchids underwater and floating candles
look spectacular as the evening lighting takes over.

Huppah's are always the showpiece in a Jewish ceremony.
This beauty is 8'x8' and all family can fit under.
Tanya chose a very simple huppah with simple embellishment.

We love "Water's Edge" and Maggie  (wedding coordinator). They do everything right.
Lisa from Chair Affair has so many choices for  chair covers and colored and textured sashes. I love working with Lisa in coordinating together. It makes a cohesive and stylized signature for each bride. We thank Water's Edge and Maggie and send hugs to Tanya and Matthew!!!
Congratulations!!

Ct.Wedding Florist: Riverhouse "tasting"

The Riverhouse showcases their "entrees" with a central focused 9' table. This is a wonderful
way to see and make choices for their future guests......And yes, of course, they sample
all food. I have the opportunity to "show" and create a "WOW".  I am always looking
for creative ways, and using a "Wedding" theme differently.

This centerpiece looks so beautiful as the evening shade draped the ballroom. The calla lillies
are lit with led lights. Guests are always amazed.

We use tall cylinder often and place floating candles inside. The amber toned water is
perfect for a fall wedding and any combination of flowers at the base look great.

Congratulations to Chris and Natalie.....tying the knot in September.  Chris's father in law to be was content sitting at our table and filled with the wonderful foods   at "The Riverhouse'"   This is a
wonderful evening for all..............

The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station, Haddam, Ct. wedding

It was a beautiful day in March.......who would have known..a warm spring day perfect for Rebecca and Patrick's wedding.  Textures were soft and hand picked from a garden........So pretty.
The Ivoryton Congregational .....in all the years we have serviced weddings statewide I have never
serviced this "most charming' church........I felt like I was in rural Vermont (I grew up there)......and surprisingly would just walk out
to a covered bridge and the clear moving brook for photos...
"The Riverhouse" is a perfect backdrop for a garden like wedding........Nantucket baskets enhanced Rebecca's centerpieces too....  We wish you both  years of "JOY".....Congratulations!!!
