 This bouquet says so much about Crystal and her vision. She loved pin-cushion protea....from then on we built layers of amazement........Flower combinations and colors together fill me with joy.......as I create.......bouquets become magical......adding the final detail.....orange crocosmia......brought whimsy and huge smile.........Love this bouquet!!!

Ct.Wedding Florist: Veronica's beautiful wedding at "The Riverhouse"

There she is!!! Veronica looking so so "BEAUTIFUL"

Cascades of crystals, and beautiful drapes are a perfect backdrop at our ceremony site. I brought

pin spot lighting and focused it on the crystals......Wow!! They SPARKLED perfectly~~

After the ceremony the staff of "The Riverhouse" moved these grand altar pieces into the ballroom to

flank the sweetheart table......

Nice to see the guests seated.......It's not often my timing is perfect for a shot like this.

This little guy is the cutest little guy I have seen in a long time. He would not look at me no matter what.  If only I had a lollipop....that would have done it!!

This adorable little girl posed for me.....What does that say about little girls all dressed up with flowers in her hair and her tussie-mussie? 

This is Matt (banquet manager) everyone........He is a great guy!!!   The foyer table arrangement is not to shabby either........I will take a bow........

Tall centerpieces along with low centerpieces offered an elegance, to an already beautiful ballroom. 

"LOVE" ....The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station and sending warm felt thanks to Veronica, who's vision was amazing......... Veronica commented:  the flowers were perfect!!!!

 It was such a joy working with Katie. We both agreed, bright beautiful flowers worked perfectly

against the fuschia bridesmaids dresses......I really enjoyed working with bachelor buttons (the blue flower)

Revisiting this flower brought back so many natural garden memories.......The combination of flowers

were perfect......and accenting with fuschia brought these boquets into perfect balance...  

When Katie arrived at "The Riverhouse" she rolled down her window in the limo and was

so excited as she said, " I knew they would be beautiful but these flowers are beyond my expections.

They are amazing."   Hugs and kisses!!! We did it....... Bravo!!!

I love wedding flowers.......soft and romantic, classic in style and having a perfect

placement to showcase beautiful wedding  flowers is always a plus. "The Riverhouse" offers us

the "Grand" foyer table.......Placed at entry, guests engage with the florals, as they seach placecards and

relax at the foyer cocktail party and later as the guests leave........ they remember........."Flowers"

I have the little vases that the bouquets were in as well and can return them to you. Even the way you delivered them was great, nice and fresh, just perfect. I can't say enough about how much I loved all the flowers and arrangements, you are an artist!

Ct.Wedding Florist: "Riverhouse" tasting flowers, April 2011

The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station  does a wonderful job showcasing all their menus for each

new bride to "taste."  We are given the opportunity to showcase centerpieces.......always great fun.

I was offered navy and copper linens........I really wanted to explore the wonderful floral textures to help create that "WEDDING" feeling.......Wedding design (we see in magazines) is taking on a more modern

approach. I love flowers in soft textures with a modern edge or modern colors with a soft design......

    We were invited meet the brides and showcase at the tasting......We created this fall wedding bouquet and raffled it off......# 20........The bride  was so excited, the smile on her face, priceless!!!!

..........makes my job so much fun........Yes, you could say I have the most amazing job..(I hear this

often)......Bravo!!!  to The Riverhouse.....as always, they  "STAND OUT" as one of the best Wedding

facilities we have in Connecticut.......and talking with the bride's that day, they too, agreed.

These Natural Garden bouquets were perfect!!! I love mini sunflowers and think that yellow kangaroo paws are my new favorite flower. They were perfect in these bouquets to add a bit of whimsy.........

Roseann loved big and bold, elegant and richly dramatic......

The colors saturation were just a thrill for me......

like a fascinating and intriguing abstract painting....

I was in my element.....

Roseann's love for crystals showcased themselves in her bouquet....

The "Pine Orchard Chapel" in Branford is an empty canvas........

25 drops of crystals hung at random heights

from high ceiling beams throughout the chapel..

We framed in the back altar wall with green's garland and flowers.......

The Pine Orchard Country Club danced with elegance.....

We hung crystals in the windows...

It was beautiful.......

It is very hard to capture the color and glitter throughout, from my camera.

You can see it a little in this photo.....

The 4 columns were draped with lights and white draperies .......

It is always nice to have a

"surprise"

factor for each wedding........

Roseann has a wonderful family and friends..........

Ct.Wedding Florists: Fall bouquets with different backdrops

Isn't it interesting how different these two collages look based on the backdrop colors. The warm tones enhance the beauty of the fall bouquets. Are you drawn to the warmer tones?

Or do you find the darker backdrop more exciting? We have endless combinations of flower colors and the next years designer fabrics in the most amazing colors, to create magic.

The program I am using is new and such great fun. From movies, to videos, to photos with backdrops......What a creative winter!!!
