Ct.Wedding Florist:Wedding Flowers at The Riverhouse, Ct.

This is such a cute shot of my beautiful bride receiving her bouquet and so thrilled
with it's beauty and scent she asks her mom to take a sniff........Stephanotis scent
is a classic wedding scent that will forever stay with her..

Seeing all the wedding photographers creativity, I thought I would find a fun way to photo the bouquet. What do you think?
Hot pink roses, red posi callas and white stephanotis, says it all.

She is so cute.

How about a hand-painted silk huppah top shipped in and installed this morning. Layers of various colored pomegranates frame in the lavish ethereal-like swirls of lavender grapes and soft greens for vines.

The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station www.theriverhouse.com was the place. Always beautiful.

"Congratulations" to Mary Ellen and her wonderful groom.

Ct.Wedding Florists: Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station: and crystals

We have such a great time concepting ideas for each tasting at the Riverhouse. www.theriverhouse.com What can I do to capture a "Wedding" feeling that will
be a showstopper.?......How about crystals hanging from branching along with small
lights entwined so we "feel" the wedding glisten and gleam, even in the evening.
Sounds great to me.....I would have loved to be sitting at this table. Anyone want
to send me glistenlike feedback......I am ready........
I took this on the balcony. Really just shows the scale of the Riverhouse and how
high we can really go to create magic.

We decorated 3 tables.....Why not create a more modern look. Purple and citrus green are "IN"
4 purple glass vases unified by flowers and bear grass swirls......great fun. I hope you enjoyed this too.

And we wanted to show everyone a more natural garden, traditional, soft "Weddinglike" feeling
centerpiece. This is just beautiful and never ages in wedding design.

We will continue to play with ideas and inspire all you wonderful "Brides."
It is always
a thrill to decorate the Riverhouse.
Thanks to Libby, Ivy, and Jim.
We will see you soon.

Ct.Wedding Florists: Saybrook Point Inn Tasting in "Crystals"

Crystals are in!!!! How about sitting at a table and watching the crystals shimmer all night long.
This was a "Show Stopper." You know how sometimes you just get so excited about a creation. This one did it for me, and I hope for all of you.
This wonderful young couple agreed to have their photo taken by the grand "Crystal"
centerpiece in the backround. I wish them all the best on their journey towards
their
"Wedding Day"
Thanks for the photo!!!
We were asked to create 2 arrangements. This was an old world gardeny piece, in an old world
urn (hand painted patina to match her decor) and designed to showcase a " look" for another bride being married at Saybrook Point Inn. www.saybrook.com

Allison, from "Something Blue Special Events" www.somethingbluespecialevents.com , Liz,(premier events coordinator of Saybrook Point Inn) me, and our bride worked as a team to find the best choices for table linens, chargers, unique glass ware (supplied by Allison) and, of course, my centerpiece, using our brides overall color scheme. We created a "WOW" factor... We decided to use large shells in texures of copper and white too......just a little beachy.!!

It was a wonderful day.. I met a new wedding cake vendor, Kim's Cottage Confections, www.kimcottageconfections.com It was such a pleasure Kim.......Your wedding cakes are beautiful........
I always thank the staff of Saybrook Point too: Donna, Paul, Liz......it was a all embracing day.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
